How many people can sleep inside a TrailPod?
Our Pods are available in 2 standard inside width options, 1150mm or 1350mm. Both can sleep 2 adults with an option to fit an additional bunk bed for a child.
How long is the manufacturing process?
We can complete your teardrop caravan in about 2 months. The duration can be influenced by a waiting list, and by the shortage of materials in the market. Please enquire about our current waiting list.
What material is used for the pod cabin construction?
We use rigid recyclable foam composite panels with a tough laminate finish on the inside and thin aluminum cladding on the outside. No wood or fiberglass is used in our body structure. We use top quality baltic plywood for our interior cupboards for a warm homely feeling.
Is it possible to fit a rooftop tent on a TrailPod and how much weight does the roof hold?
The maximum load on the roof is 70kg while driving. While camping, the roof supports up to 200kg of weight.
What colours can be chosen?
We have a standard colour range, but can make your TrailPod in any colour you want. If you have the automotive paint colour code, then you we can use it.
Do you offer rental services?
No, sadly we can no longer provide this option; however, you are more than welcome to come and view, test and chat to our team about all the affordable options available to send you off on your next TrailPod Adventure!
